Looking to get a man’s attention? There are tons of do’s and don’ts out there, but after learning the dating ropes, maybe it’s about time you get a little playful with your wardrobe.
Whether you’re going out on date, or just stopping by the nearest coffee shop, you’ll want to make an effort to look your best, so here are some unique ideas to get the clothes that get the guy:
1. Let the sheer peek out- it doesn’t have to be a tutu; a pretty little slip will do
2. Wear the pants- take out your most flattering pair and accentuate it with flattering jewlery.
3. Fact: Men love red- choose an orangy red if you have a warmer skintone, or a blue-red if you’re cooler.
4. Show off your waist- all you need is something belted and halter shaped
5. Pick a lingerie-ish dress- if you are worried about being overexposed layer a white tank underneath.
There are plenty of ways out there to make your look work in your favor. As usual, make sure whatever you wear, you feel confident, sexy, and comfortable.
Stop by BHFO today to get the look that turns every head in the room.

If you turn on the TV, walk through a mall, or check the newspaper, you will always hear about the latest sale in women’s clothing. How many times do you hear about this store’s Semi-Annual Sale, or that store’s Sale?
Mens clothing seems to go on sale mostly during the holidays and maybe once when each season changes. So how is a guy supposed to keep up with dressing well without all of the sale prices to ease the burden on his wallet?
Simple – rather than buying all new clothes, work on sprucing up your current wardrobe!
Here are three simple tips to spruce up your look on a budget:
1. Check Your Pants – if you look through your closet, you probably have a few pairs of pants that don’t fit as well as they used to, but are still in great shape! Don’t throw them away! Take them to your local tailor and have them adjusted. It’s cheaper than buying all new pants and you come out with better-fitting pants. This also works great for any old suits or coats!
2. Show Your Shoes Some Love – every man can be easily appraised by the shoes on his feet. Get your shoes polished and repaired instead of replacing them. Often times a good polish can make an old shoe look like a completely new one, and it will still be broken in!
3. Build Off What You Have – look at what you currently own, and then buy a few new pieces that work with it. A few new pieces can freshen up your existing wadrobe while still allowing you to mix-and-match between old and new for all new looks!

The beginning of every year is a good time to take a step back and see where you're at - and that applies to your wardrobe as well as your new year's resolution!
Here's a few tips to clean out your closet and get a fresh new perspective on your style:
• Do you need to dress it up? If you're finishing up college, or starting a new job, this might be a good time to start adding more "adult' pieces into your collection.
• Is it versatile? You might not need that polka-dot sweater you love so much on a daily basis, but a pair of black heels will work with just about anything. Make sure you have a few cornerstone pieces that you can accent with your wild sid.
• Can you dress it up OR dress it down? Simple, classic pieces like a white shirt can be dressed up for work, or paired with jeans for a casual, sophisticated look.

After a rough and tumble year, the fashion world is looking to brighten things up for a refreshing start.
Leatrice Eiseman of the Pantone Color Institute, a company that tracks color in the fashion and home décor worlds, has given the nod to turquoise to “transport” us into a tropical, happier outlook in 2010.
Here’s just a few tips that will help you integrate this style-ready color into your ensemble:
• Turquoise Jewelry – bracelets and necklaces go with just about anything, and will add fun to even the darkest color palettes
• Fabric is important – the right one will create a luxe look, but the wrong fabric will end up looking cheap
• Accessorize with a turquoise bag or belt – the accent will make you stand out in a crowd
We've got you started - now go get your turquoise!

It’s a New Year, which means plenty of resolutions to go around! Often this includes upgrading one’s wardrobe to reflect the “new you” for the upcoming year.
So let’s start with an often overlooked fashion accessory that is making a comeback – the necktie! Yes there is more to it than just picking a color that matches your suit and tying it properly. Believe it or not, your tie can say a lot about you, and can often make or break how people look at you.
Here are three tips to keep you from getting tied up!
• A proper tie should hit the top of your belt buckle, and be between 3 and 4 inches wide. If you wear a tie that’s too short, you can come across as clueless. Too long, and you look like a little kid trying on daddy’s clothes. Use different knots to get the proper length, and make sure to use the tie’s keeper to hold the skinny end in place.
• In business, whether or not you need a tie is all about your role versus where the money is. The closer you are to the money, the more you need to wear that tie, especially if you have to sell your services or convince someone else to give you the money. If you are on the opposite end of the spectrum, you can probably get away with not wearing it.
• Match your jacket, suit, and tie to your natural complexion. If you are a high contrast person (dark hair and light skin or vice versa), your outfit should be the same way. If your hair-skin contrast is much softer, then go for lower-constrasting colors as well.

Especially when the weather gets cold, all sorts of heavy and thermal coats hit the fashion scene for men.
Some coats are made from wool from a rare breed of mountain goat in the Alps; others look like someone inflated a balloon and stitched some seams onto it. Most of these jackets, while probably warm, just would not cut it in terms of meeting the every-day man’s winter wadrobe.
So here are three classic examples of men’s winter coats that have stood the test of time and continue to go strong.
• Pea Coats – whether you are wearing jeans or a suit, a pea coat goes with just about any wardrobe or outfit. The best colors for pea coats are usually black, navy and charcoal, but you can find some in more bold patterns and styles as well.
• Leather Bomber Jackets – whether you want to feel like Maverik from Top Gun or not, there’s no denying that the leather bomber jacket goes great with winter wardrobes. Designers have taken the bomber jacket to both ends of the fashion spectrum, with classic, simple designs for the professional look, to more distressed and fur-trimmed styles for the casual look.
• Traditional Sheepskin/Shearling Coat – now if you really want to stay warm, get yourself one of these. While usually popular among cowboys and ranchers, they’ve quickly made themselves commonplace in the big city as well. They usually come in natural or chocolate colors, and can go great with a pair of jeans and a sweater.
So if you want to stay warm and still look good (and comfortable), avoid the overly puffy coats and pick yourself up a classic winter coat.

No doubt these thoughts have gone through your mind when you’ve stood in front of the mirror: Am I dressing like my mother? Do I look like I’m wearing my daughters clothes? Am I dressing appropriately?
First and foremost style is about inner confidence. Here is what to consider when dressing your age:
• 20's – There are no boundaries for twenty-something’s when it comes to fashion. It's about personal style and adding whimsical touches you can get away with only when you're younger, whether that means playing with color, mixing and matching, or wearing high heels and high hemlines.
• 30's – More pulled-together, serious looks are what your 30s are about, but you don't have to be a total square. The trick is to experiment with fashion-forward styles while maintaining a level of polish.
• 40's – Classic silhouettes and colors may start to dominate your wardrobe, but each piece should be full of personality. Think interesting embellishment, feminine volume, and bursts of rich color and pattern.
• 50's- Refined, tasteful choices are the foundations of age-appropriate dressing. Tailoring and structure are key, as are clean lines and fuss-free pieces in a simple palette.
Each year take time to re-evaluate your style choices to determine whether they are age appropriate. Because as your priorities and age change, so should your fashion choices. Let BHFO help you make all the right changes.

Buying the perfect bra is a hard thing to do.
We want to help our customers to make the best purchases possible, so here’s a handy little guide to help you out:
• It’s easiest to measure yourself either bra-less or in an unpadded bra – all you need is a fabric measuring tape available at any department store
• First, measure your band side – this is around your rib cage, right under the bust. Make sure the tape is flush against your skin. Add 5 inches to the measurement to get your band size. For instance, if you measure 29 inches around your rib cage, you’ll have a 34 inch band size – if you land on an even number, it’s best to round up
• Then, measure your cup size – measure around your bust at the fullest point- make sure the tape is firm to get an accurate measurement, but not too tight!
• Take the difference between your cup size and your band size, and convert this from numbers to letters, using the following scheme:
Less than 1 inch – AA, 1 inch – A, 2 inches – B, 3 inches – C, 4 inches – D, 5 inches – DD or E
• Your Band size + your cup size is your ideal bra size- use this as a starting point to try out new bras
Now that you know how to get a good measurement – start shopping for the bra that fits you best!
