When the cooler season approaches, layering is a must. It’s time to put away the short skirts and midriffs and think about how to wear layers instead.

Denim is a great way to go with this idea, and isn’t just for jeans either. Just a few years ago, denim vests, shirts and even jackets were considered a bit rugged. But, in the most recent years, this fabric has become a wearable and workable fabric for the masses.

When you start layering up with denim as your medium, add a little flare into your outfit. Add a bright pair of boots or gloves. Stick with colors that are workable and give you the effect of sophistication, and not the look of an unmade bed.
